It’s that time of year again: Kids are heading back to school… and back to sports and after-school activities!
Are you taking advantage of the opportunity to spread awareness about the need for sports mouth guards? Your team is already focused on making kids and parents feel comfortable during appointments — it’s simple to turn the conversation toward keeping kids and teens safe during school sports.
Back to School: Spread the Word About Sports Safety
There are marketing opportunities already in the schedule – it just takes a little planning ahead to recognize them. Here’s how to do it:
- During your morning huddle, make special note of any school-aged children on the schedule.
- When kids and teens are in the chair, make it a habit to ask what sports and after-school activities they participate in.
- If they engage in any activities where facial and dental injuries are common, talk to their parents about the need for and benefits of custom-fit mouth guards.
- Reassure them it’s convenient; if possible, offer to have their impressions taken today to save time.
